This small Sandstone has a glass like surface that can be used to refresh and dress synthetic stones in the range of 800-4000 and coarser natural stones.
This stone can additionaly be used to rub on the edge of European and Middle eastern swords as well as kitchen and pocket knives to begin sharpening them, *Warning doing so or using the stone this way poses a risk of serious injury and should only be used in this way by professionls
Natural stones cannot be graded by grit and are instead aproximate, this stone is roughly equivelant to 800-900 grit.

To care for this stone use a 200-400 diamond grit plate and lap the shiny side only
