This paper is used to back thin polishing and sharpening stones for strength and to keep them from breaking. It also helps add a little gripping power so the stone doesnt get away from you. Use for JI or Ha zuya or for backing finer pieces of sandstone, flint, slate or novaculite.
You will need to glue this paper to the back of your stones, rice glue, super glue and gorilla glue super all work well.
Each pack contains 3 strips of paper of various sizes and lengths all are over 8" long and 1" to possibly 2" wide.
